Concert

Here are a few materials I created to work on my sculpting in Substance Designer. I really enjoyed building and detailing the panel on the guitar amp and trying to have multiple surface types (metal, plastic, and fabric) in one material.

When creating the speakers, I wanted to try a slightly different process. So this time, when each element (cabinet, woofer, tweeter, screws, etc.) was being merged into the height map, I would also add it to an ID mask. I then used that mask at the end to apply the different color, roughness, and metallic to each specific part.

Finally, for the backdrop, the goal was to sculpt some natural fabric folds and creases. I also wanted it to feel aged and unkept, with the fabric pilling and fraying.
